Harrogate tearoom wins Best Places to Work Award
Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate and La Tasca Restaurants have triumphed in Caterer and Hotelkeeper's inaugural Best Places to Work in Hospitality Awards.
The family run business, which has six café-tearooms in North Yorkshire was a joint winner of the platinum award with Spanish tapas chain la Tasca.
Betty's also took the Restaurant And Bar With 1-10 Sites title, and La Tasca triumphed again in the Restaurant And Bar Chains With 11 Or More Sites category.
Bettys operations manager Rachel Burberry said: "We're here tonight, but actually it's all about the 550 people up in Yorkshire making it happen everyday."
La Tasca's human resources director Gavin Wetton: "It's a fantastic recognition of everything we do for our people in the business. We're over the moon."
