Welcome Break signs deal with Eurotunnel
Motorway service station operator Welcome Break has signed a seven-year contract with Eurotunnel to operate the catering facilities at its Passenger Terminal Building at Folkestone.
Welcome Break said it will invest in an expanded seating area and introduce Coffee Primo, Burger King and Eat In outlets to the building, which serves around four million passengers a year.
The new units are planned to open by the end of April.
Rod McKie, chief executive of Welcome Break, said: "We are delighted to have signed this deal with Eurotunnel which we believe will bring real benefits to both parties.
"Most importantly, passengers who travel through the terminal will enjoy the choice and quality of the offer which is working so well for us in our motorway service areas."
