Peach Pub Co poaches Punch director
Phil Pegler, the former Punch Taverns operations director, has joined Peach Pub Company as a non-executive director, Caterersearch has learnt.
Pegler, who was responsible for the conversion of part of the Spirit Group managed estate into leased properties, started working for Peach this week.
Peach Pub Company was formed in 2002 by co-founders Lee Cash and Hamish Stoddart.
At the end of last year it bought the Old Mill, a canal side pub in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, which was one of the Spirit managed houses placed on the leasehold market by Punch.
Peach has since refurbished the pub to the cost of £400,000.
Cash is to appear as on of the judges in Raymond Blanc's BBC Two programme, The Restaurant, where couples compete to win a restaurant which will begins on 29 August.
