Lexington awarded Investors in People gold status
Lexington Catering's Investor in People (IIP) title has been elevated to Gold status three years after it was first given the award.
The caterer was recognised following meetings with an IIP representative who worked with Lexington to identify the company's aims and goals in people management and business development.
Several weeks of site visits and interviews with a cross-section of staff followed, and concluded that Lexington has a "strong philosophy of good people management, well embedded values that underpin the way it does business, combined with a highly commercial approach."
Mike Sunley, chief executive of Lexington Catering, said; "This is a fantastic achievement for everybody at Lexington and we are immensely proud of everyone in the company for helping us to achieve Gold status from Investors in People.
"Following the Sunday Times Top 100 award earlier last year, this really is the icing on the cake for us."
