Benugo to offer homeless people jobs at House of St Barnabas members' club

Café-to-restaurant operator Benugo has teamed up with London's charity venue the House of St Barnabas for the launch of a new members' club.

Set to open in autumn, the club will be a not-for-profit members' club providing work opportunities for the homeless.

Benugo will deliver the food and beverage offer within the venue, which is housed in a Grade I-listed building in the heart of Soho. The partnership marks the first time that Benugo has collaborated with a private club as it normally runs outlets within public spaces, independent restaurants, high-street stores and events.

The Club at the House of St Barnabas will run an Employment Academy, which will place people affected by homelessness within the club and train them to become hospitality professionals.

Benugo founder Ben Warner (pictured) said: "We are committed to safeguarding the heritage of the house for the next chapter of its future and being a part of a creative new club where members and their guests can support an excellent cause, while enjoying themselves in an unparalleled setting."

The Club at the House of St Barnabas will offer its members access to an intimate dining room, a selection of bars and lounge areas, as well as a secluded private courtyard garden.
