Aloft Hotels announce new hotel for Liverpool
Located in the renovated, Grade II-listed Royal Insurance building, the mid-market hotel will be in the heart of the city's heritage centre close to Liverpool One, one of the UK's largest shopping centres. The hotel, which is being developed by Ashall Property, will be operated by BDL Management.
Bedrooms will feature Aloft's signature high ceilings, oversized windows and a platform bed, as well as large walk-in showers.
The hotel will also boast the re:mix lounge and w xyz bar, with a re:charge fitness centre, five meeting spaces and re:fuel by Aloft , a deli outlet which provides food and drinks 24 hours a day.

Aloft, which has a strong following with guests in the music and design sectors, launched in the UK in 2011 with a 252-bedroom hotel at ExCel London.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts currently has ten hotels in the UK, including The Lanesborough - a St. Regis hotel, W London, and the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh . Meanwhile, Aloft has more than 60 hotels in 10 countries.
