Wagamama appoints Formula One boss as chief executive
Wagamama has appointed former Formula One boss David Campbell as its new chief executive.
Campbell, who has worked as a chief executive of companies in the sports, entertainment and media businesses for the past 20 years, will join Wagamama in September 2013.
He was most recently group board director and managing director of Allsport, which is globally responsible for all Formula One advertising, sponsorship, hospitality and merchandising. Prior to that, he was president and chief executive of live entertainment firm AEG Europe. Other previous CEO roles include: Visit London, Ginger Media Group, Virgin Radio and Virgin TV Europe, and executive vice chairman of the Ministry of Sound.
