IHG signs two new London hotels
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed two more hotels in London, with the Hotel Indigo London - Barbican, and the Holiday Inn - Watford Junction.
The company said that the deals meant that in the last nine months, IHG had signed all six of its current European brands into its Greater London pipeline.
The 92- room Holiday Inn Watford Junction is due to open this summer and will operate under a franchise agreement with Nine Hospitality Ltd.
Meanwhile the 101-room Hotel Indigo - London Barbican, run as part of a partnership with Sanguine Hospitality, will open in 2016. Sanguine currenty has six IHG hotels open in the UK and two under construction. The Hotel Indigo - London Barbican is well expected to appeal to business travellers as well as leisure guests drawn to the local cultural and arts attractions.
