New Liverpool hotel to host dog crèche

A dog crèche will be among the facilities on offer at a new "luxury" 20-bedroom hotel currently being converted from former student accommodation in Liverpool.

Urbanista hotel will open on Bold Street following a £500,000 transformation of the property by its owner, Evolve Group, a property development company and former operator of student accommodation.

Located above the former Love Thy Neighbour restaurant which has recently been taken over by Graffiti Spirits Group to developed into a new concept, the hotel is partnering with some of Liverpool's leading bars, cafés and restaurants to offer discounts.

The hotel will also offer a dog crèche and dog boarding.

Alex Carney, marketing manager of Urbanista, said the hotel is "a much-needed addition" to what is the Ropewalk area of the city, popular with tourists and locals.

"The interior of Urbanista is going to be really contemporary and classy. We're aiming to keep it sleek and want our guests to feel comfortable in luxurious surroundings."
