The Feed Rapide vending system selects frozen ready meals from its internal chest freezer using an F820 robotic arm. The customer then transfers the pack to an adjacent microwave for regeneration. Targeting hospitals and round-the-clock work environments, the machine can take coins, notes or cards and is designed to reduce menu fatigue and eliminate wastage by stocking long shelf life products.
A choice of 30 products within three different menu types is available to users of Feed Rapide, which was shown by the Vending Corporation in association with wholesaler 3663, which handles supply and distribution of the system's exclusive food products.
