8 Northumberland Avenue joins events portfolio LVL

Catey-nominated events space company 8 Northumberland Avenue has joined event portfolio Leading Venues of London (LVL) with immediate effect.

Located in central London, walking distance from Trafalgar Square, the Victorian-era Grade-II listed former hotel has been refurbished with a capacity for 1,000 people.

It has a ballroom, a smaller "old billiard room" that can be combined into one big space, plus meeting rooms.

It has also received a nomination for the Catey Best Use of Technology Award 2014, thanks to its state-of-the-art lighting and visual technology systems, and was the first venue to partner with 3D holographic technology company Musion.

LVL seeks to provide professional events bookers with access to high-quality venues across London. Other properties in its portfolio include Chandos House, the Wallace Collection, the Wyndham Grand at Chelsea Harbour, and the Swan restaurant at Shakespeare's Globe.
