Academie culinaire graduates' dinner
The 10 latest graduates of the Académie Culinaire/Bournemouth & Poole College Specialised Chefs Course have been honoured with a dinner at the International Financial Centre, London.
The youngsters have just completed a three-year block-release course, during which they were assessed for NVQs in food preparation and cooking, food service, patisserie and confectionery. They were also examined for the Académie Culinaire's diploma in professional cookery.
The students were sponsored throughout the course by Académie members. Now that they have graduated they will be offered permanent positions.
The successful students and their sponsors are: Robert Attwood (John McManus at Ashdown Park Hotel, Forest Row); Abbie Bennett (Pierre Chevillard at Chewton Glen Hotel, New Milton); Steven Jones, Simon Reach and Matthew White (Richard Shepherd at Langan's Restaurants); Rob McEnnerney (David Dorricott at the House of Commons); Dale Osborne (John Elliott at the Goring Hotel, London); Jerzy Rozputinski (Chris Suter at Bishopstrow House, Warminster); Daniel Sherlock (Albert Roux at Roux Fine Dining); and James Watson (Alan Cutler at Dormy House, Broadway).
