Adam Rowledge named GM at Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings
Adam Rowledge has joined the four-AA-star, 38-bedroom Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings as general manager, from Nutfield Priory Hotel and Spa, Redhill, where he was deputy general manager for two years.
A recipient in 2012 of an Acorn Award, which recognises the brightest prospects in the hospitality industry under the age of 30, Rowledge has previously worked at the Hempel hotel in London and South Lodge hotel, near Horsham. He began his full-time career in hospitality at Hotel du Vin, Henley-on-Thames.
Rowledge said: "What attracted me to the Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings was the chance to work for a company that genuinely cares about its staff and the opportunity to lead the team at such a fabulous property, set in such beautiful grounds."
Surrounded by 38 acres of formal gardens and woodland, the hotel offers a range of treatments to guests including body massages, manicures, hairdressing, facials, and the use of the hotel's private outdoor hot tubs.
The property is one of four hotels owned by Bannatyne Fitness & the Bannatyne Group, headed by former Dragon's Den personality Duncan Bannatyne. The company also operates 60 health clubs, which incorporate 34 spas.
