ALMR signs up eight new members
The Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR) has revealed that it has recruited eight new members within the last month.
The new members are:
â- Barhub, which owns and operates the award-winning Wiremill near East Grinstead in Sussex.
â- Bravo Inns in Warrington and their 22 sites in the North-west.
â- Castle Rock Brewery, with 23 pubs.
â- Davy's, the London wine bar chain and wine merchants.
â- Frederic Robinson, classic regional brewer from Stockport with 389 tenancies.
â- Intrepid Pub Company and its management services based on four pubs of their own.
â- Nightlife Clubs.
Duncan Ward, managing director of Intrepid, said: "ALMR gets the smaller companies heard by Government, and Intrepid wants to play its part in that."
Nick Bish, Chief Executive of ALMR, commented: "We are in the middle of uncertain times, just as we were when we set up 20 years ago, and it's very gratifying to see that operators of all types and sizes understand that their combined efforts really can make a difference when we are facing a torrent of new rules and regulations."
"ALMR focuses on retail, retail, retail, but this list of new members illustrates the wide range of businesses that are still coming together to combine their experience and expertise in a collective effort. It's fantastic to be involved in this," he added.
