Appeal to find missing French waiter

A French family are appealing for help in finding their son, last seen working as a waiter in the UK over three years ago.

The family of Marc Claude Rouff said they had not heard from him since March 1998, when he visited them in France. Shortly after that, he returned to the UK, where he had been working since the early 1990s.

He worked in Barnstaple and Exeter, in Devon, and as head waiter at the Buck Inn, Hayton, North Yorkshire, from January to September 1999. He left no forwarding details there but said he was going to work in a hotel in London.

Rouff is 36 years old, 6ft tall, slim, with brown hair and blue eyes. If you have any information, please ring the National Missing Persons Helpline in confidence on freephone 0500 700 700.
