Arrests after police raids on cannabis cafés

A man arrested following police raids on Amsterdam-style cannabis cafés in Camden, north London, denied possessing drugs when he appeared in court in London last week.

Rachid Ayyad, a café worker, of Camden High Street, Camden, denied possessing cannabis at Iain Hemp's Bar, also in Camden High Street. He was remanded on bail until 14 February.

Three others arrested at a second café, Amsterdam of London, also in Camden High Street, have been bailed to return to a London police station on 11 February.
