Barracuda extends breakfast offer to include lighter options
Pub company Barracuda has extended its breakfast menu to include some lighter options.
The company, which last month announced that chief executive Mark McQuater was set to step down, said it would also start offering quality produce such as free-range eggs and naturally smoked bacon.
Dishes on the new, extended breakfast menu include: warm pancakes with raspberries, yogurt and oats; Eggs Benedict; and a breakfast wrap filled with naturally smoked bacon, grilled pork sausage, hash brown, cheddar and mozzarella cheese and a free range egg.
In addition to the lighter dishes, the company has also started to offer Ocean Spray cranberry juice and orange juice, alongside Cost coffee, Twinings flavoured teas and PG Tips tea.
Kate Eastwood, head of food at Barracuda, said: "At the start of the year we had a promotion where we offered our customers the perfect start to their day with a breakfast at £1.99. Due to the great success of this promotion we are extending it alongside the introduction of a menu that offers variety and quality to keep our customers interested."
