Batemans Brewery rebrands and adds new beers for 140th year

Lincolnshire-based brewery Batemans has rebranded and launched new product ranges to help celebrate its 140th anniversary.

The family brewer has updated its branding, adding a more contemporary design and the strapline "Craft Brewers Since 1874".

It has also launched several new brands, including Bohemian Brews (with flavours such as mocha amaretto, orange barley and hazelnut brownie) and the Biscuit Barrel Beers, which have a more traditional cask ale flavour but with hints of biscuits such as digestive, bourbon, fruit and chocolate digestive.

The brewery has also extended the maturation and fermentation time of its beers, to intensify their flavour.

Stuart Bateman, managing director of Batemans Brewery, said: "This year marks a momentous occasion for us. We've evolved our branding, and also introduced a range of new beers, which demonstrate the heritage and expertise of our brewery. We're extremely proud of these new beers."

Batemans also offers a selection of bottled beers, in supermarkets and online, and has almost 70 pubs across its estate in Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Norfolk.
