Battersea Evolution to host post-Christmas party for hospitality workers

Battersea Evolution, the versatile event space in London's Battersea Park, will host a post-Christmas party for people working in the hospitality and events industry over the festive period.

The inaugural Hospitality Rocks event on 12 January 2017 will give hospitality professionals the opportunity to enjoy a party of their own and will raise funds for the Springboard Charity and Hospitality Action.

It will include a ‘Carnivale' theme with influences from South America and will feature entertainment from cirque acts, dancers, drummers and acrobats, as well as a variety of street food stalls.

Guests will also be treated to a canapé reception followed be a three-course dinner, prepared on-site by caterers Smart Hospitality, which is part of Smart Group.

After dinner entertainment will include Day of the Dead dancers, live karaoke band Rockaoke, as well as casino tables and fairground dodgems.

Greg Lawson, CEO of Smart Group, said: "After running Christmas parties for over 20 years, I can't remember the last Christmas party that I attended. We in the industry just don't get the chance to celebrate and party ourselves.

"Following the stresses and heady times of Christmas, the New Year seemed the perfect opportunity for us to bring the industry together to celebrate and using the Christmas theme from December we can offer an extraordinary product to our mates in the industry and at mates-rates.

"With everyone's support we hope the event will become an annual occasion and be the tonic that everyone needs to start the year on the right note."

Individual tickets for Hospitality Rocks cost £60 including VAT. For more information contact Smart Group on 020 7836 1033 or visit: www.hospitalityrocks.co.uk
