Black Bull in Fulham to be the fifth Camel sports bar

Camel Bars has added the Black Bull on Fulham Road to its chain of London sports bars in Victoria, Mayfair, Waterloo and Tower Bridge.

It has bought the leasehold on the two-floor, 3,500sq ft property from Wam Bars (which runs venues in London and Brighton) for a "substantial" but undisclosed premium and an annual rent of £50,000. The agent was Davis Coffer Lyons.

Managing director David Brown said the Black Bull would be converted into the Camel at Fulham by mid-November

Camel Bars was set up six years ago by entrepreneurs from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The bars average a 200-250 capacity and specialise in screening rugby matches and US and Antipodean sports.
