A Brita future

BRITA'S WATER Filters have been enrolled at Queen's College, Cambridge. Lee Bollam, catering and conference manager at the college installed a Brita filter in the college bar, where the coffee machine had previously caused problems by clogging with scale from Cambridge's notoriously hard water.

So pleased was Lee with the result that he contacted Brita Professional sales manager, Antony Spruce, to connect the ice maker to the same filter. "From that day to this the ice maker, one of the real headache pieces of equipment for most caterers, has given me absolutely no problems."

Lee now has a Brita filters on the Still's boiler and on his new Rational combi. He says they save him hassle, maintenance expense and down-time.
