• Booker Foodservice has been renamed 3663, pronounced "three, double six three". A 3663 branded own label will be introduced in the Spring next year.
• Ashworth's Foods has launched a new meat alternative food range, which is being distributed by SDF Foods. The range comprises fresh and frozen pie and pastry products, burgers, steaks and mince.
• The Ice Box is selling what it claims is the world's first ever pollution free ice rocks. They are up to 200,000 years old and come from the Ice Cap in Greenland. The manufacturers claim tiny explosions can be heard as the compressed air, from at least 1,000 years ago, is released as the ice cubes melt in the glass.
