Champagne house Bollinger has linked up with Le Méridien Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane in London as the site of its first Champagne bar in the world. The 1,150sq ft bar (above), which will take 60 standing customers and 45 seated, also serves light dishes, pastas and salads. It has its own dedicated chef working under Adriano Cavagnini, executive chef of the adjacent La Terrazza restaurant. The Bollinger Bar is serving three classic styles, a Special Cuvée, a Grande Année 1990 and the Bollinger RD 1988, of which the UK will have just 1,000 bottles this year.
