Claude and Cedric Bosi's Malt House to open earlier than planned with Hibiscus chef in kitchen
Claude and Cedric Bosi's latest pub venture, the Malt House in Fulham, is to open early with the former head chef of Hibiscus in the kitchen.
The Malt House, a Brakspear pub in a street off Fulham Broadway, was originally due to open in February but is now set to launch on 28 January.
Marcus McGuiness, who was head chef at Claude Bosi's two-Michelin-starred Hibiscus in London's Mayfair, will head up the kitchen.
He secured his first position in the kitchen of Gus Ashingford's Chavignol in Chipping Norton, before moving to Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham, and then joining Claude Bosi at Hibiscus in Ludlow in 2006.
The pub will also boast slightly fewer bedrooms than originally planned, with six rather than eight.
The Bosi brothers already run one pub, the Fox and Grapes in Wimbledon.
