Coaching Inn Group appoints revenue and marketing manager

The Coaching Inn Group has appointed Isabel Diggins as revenue and marketing manager to drive accommodation sales to support the firm with its £20m expansion programme.

Diggins joins with a decade of experience as a revenue manager with operators including Jupiter Hotels Management, Puma Hotels and New World Hotel Operations.

She will lead a central reservations team based in Leicestershire, which will be responsible for increasing accommodation sales as well as maintaining brand standards.

Edward Walsh, group finance director, said: "We're delighted that Isabel will be joining us. Last year saw us deliver over £4m in accommodation revenue.

"Given our plans to acquire five more sites this year alone, including approximately another 200 bedrooms, we knew the time was right to put in place central reservations to free up our reception teams to ensure we continue to deliver a first class service across the whole group."

The Coaching Inn Group recently acquired the 26-bedroom Kings Head in Richmond, North Yorkshire, off the asking price of £2m.

It has 10 hotels across Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire and Wales.
