Côte takes on Surrey restaurant to take total sites to 30

French bistro chain Côte has taken on its second venue in two weeks, taking its total estate to 30 sites.

The chain acquired a new 20-year lease for the George bar and restaurant in Esher, Surrey, from Blue Mango Investments. Rent at the 3,500sq ft unit will cost £110,000 per year.

Nick Weir a director at Shelley Sandzer, which advised Côte on the deal, said: "This is Côte's second new venue in as many weeks. They are looking for the right combination of demographic, location and venue. When they found it in Esher they were prepared to move quickly."

Côte already have restaurants in Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Midlands, Somerset and the South-west and Wales.
