Court holds over Gallagher debts case

A decision in the case of chef Conrad Gallagher, who is battling against an action for alleged debts of £IR70,500 (£55,865), has been adjourned by Dublin's High Court until October.

The proceedings had been launched by Gerard McGurn, landlord of the Dublin premises that housed Gallagher's Lloyds Brasserie, for alleged rent arrears and an alleged unpaid loan.

Gallagher is also in a dispute with McGurn for not bringing the restaurant premises up to standard.
