Creativevents teams up with View from the Shard for pop-up

Venue and event caterer Creativevents has teamed up with visitor attraction the View from the Shard to operate a pop-up catering offer on Level 72 of the London skyscraper, 800 ft above the city.

It will serve a selection of drinks including cocktails, wine, beer and cider, as well as hot and cold soft drinks and sweet and savoury snacks during its daily opening hours of 10am to 10pm, or 1pm during the summer months.

Service will be available on the open-air sky deck, which has been fitted with more than 2,000 plants and the sound of birdsong for the summer season.

Joanne Davis, head of commercial operations at the View from the Shard, said: "We are confident that our visitors will thoroughly enjoy the new refreshments available, adding to their overall experience.

"We're dedicated to providing an exciting and five-star experience for every guest, evolving our seasonal food and drink offering regularly to accompany our innovative events and activities throughout the year."

Adrian Willson, managing director of Creativevents, said: "The View from the Shard offers the best views of London and beyond in a striking and welcoming environment. We relish being part of this success story and supporting Jo and her team in delivering fantastic food and drink."
