A new approach to design consultancy launched by Philip Watts Design aims to make new venue development more affordable to independent bar operators. Its "fixed price menu" enables prospective clients to select elements of the design process as required and as budgets dictate.
Whichever elements are chosen - colour schemes, materials, plans, elevations, fixtures, fittings and furniture - the completed design scheme is delivered in its own "takeaway" packaging. For entry level options, completed design schemes can be delivered within a few days. The new service was piloted over a six month period in England and Eire.
