Efficient coolers

SHOWN on the IMI Cornelius stand, Ergon chiller cabinets employ "intelligent technology" to achieve sufficient levels of energy efficiency to offset the extra costs of the Climate Control Levy. Contributory features include a variable speed compressor to achieve full load pull-down in under five hours compared to the 12 hours typical of most bottle coolers, low voltage brushless condenser and evaporator fan motors (claimed to use one third the energy of conventional motors with less heat generated) and doors with increased air gaps and low emissivity glass.
