Election 2010: Clearly Cameron, Clegg's Climb and Brown's Battle at the Ritz

The Ritz hotel is hosting an election night dinner, which will be served during the screening of the results. Executive chef John Williams will be preparing a classic menu of beef wellington and Cambridge cream with fresh pineapple. Priced at £120 per person, the dinner and sustenance throughout the event will be accompanied by half a bottle of Champagne.

And in the run-up to election day, the hotel's Rivoli Bar is serving a choice of three cocktails reflecting the three main political parties. Customers can choose between a Clearly Cameron (Bombay Sapphire Gin, Peach Liqueur, Blue Curacao Liqueur), a Clegg's Climb (Ketel One Vodka, 24 Carat Gold Leaf, Grand Marnier, Peach Liqueur, Champagne) or a Brown's Battle (Laphroaig 10 Years, Carpano Antica, Formula Vermouth).

Voting, so far, has clearly been in favour of the Cameron cocktail, selected by 40% of customers, with 36.2% choosing the Clegg's Climb and 23.8% opting for Brown's Battle.
