EuroFreeze under investigation by FSA

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is investigating illegal practices at EuroFreeze, a meat and poultry cold store in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

Following an initial investigation the agency has suspended EuroFreeze's licence until an enquiry, which will focus on re-labelling and repackaging products at the plant, has taken place.

The British Hospitality Association (BHA) is advising members to check their supply chain to see whether any meat has been purchased from EuroFreeze.

The BHA advises members to destroy any meat that originates from EuroFreeze and recharge the supplier. It would also like to hear of any action you take.
