Everson Hewett hosts Christmas lights party

Austin's, the new café-bar at clothing store Austin Reed in London, plays host to a VIP party tonight (13 November) to celebrate the switching on of the Regent Street Christmas lights by pop singer Daniel Bedingfield.

Contract caterer Everson Hewett, which runs the café-bar, will serve canapés and drinks to 300 guests of the Crown Estate, the owner of most of Regent Street and one of the contributors to the cost of the lights.

Everson Hewett won a one-year rolling contract to run the café, which opened this September following a £12m refurbishment of the whole store. No neighbouring competitors - such as Aquascutum and Burberry - have in-store cafés.
