Ex-Sodexho boss lands new role

David Ford, former chief executive of contract caterer Sodexho Alliance UK and Ireland, has joined serviced office company Regus as chief executive for the UK and Ireland.

Ford's departure from Sodexho in April had been predicted for some time, with insiders claiming it was the result of a difference of cultures between English and French sides of the business. News of Ford's new role comes one day after Sodexho made up to 70 people redundant following poor sales figures for the nine months to 31 May.
