Expanding Peach to strengthen team
Former Caterer Adopted Business Peach Pub Company is to expand its management team ahead of the opening of its 10th site and first high-street pub in Warwickshire.
Co-founders Hamish Stoddart and Lee Cash have embarked on a search for an operations director after the business's growth from seven to 10 sites in the past 12 months.
Peach will open the Almanac, its first new-build pub, in Kenilworth town centre early next month. Jeremy Kynaston, former managing director of Peach's first pub, the Rose & Crown in Warwick, will be its managing partner. Next on the horizon is the first site for John Taylor, former general manager of the Punch tavern on London's Fleet Street, and his wife Liz Taylor, the former general manager of Asia de Cuba in London, who signed up to work with the pub operator in April.
Stoddart said: "The growth we've seen in the last year, and the fact that there's a lot more to come, mean we're looking to strengthen our focus on our people and service, which is why we've embarked on the search for an operations director."
