Fisherman's Lodge sold to Maxfield

Fisherman's Lodge restaurant in Jesmond Dene, Newcastle upon Tyne, has been bought by millionaire Tom Maxfield for £353,000.

The restaurant was owned by Franco Cetoloni who, over 20 years, built the restaurant into a business with a £750,000 turnover. Maxfield already owns Courtney's restaurant on Newcastle Quayside and the Samling Hotel at Windermere in the Lake District.
