"You will find many opportunities available in hotels and holiday centres in the resort areas, eg Scotland, Wales, the South Coast. Most of the jobs will be at operator level (eg waiter) but any work experience will be valuable for your future career. "There are different routes to finding these opportunities. You could contact the Job Centres in the major resort towns eg Torquay, Eastbourne. You could write to the head offices of holiday companies such as Butlins. Or you could write direct to large individual establishments, by looking at tourist information guides. "Many of these organisations will have live-in accommodation available for seasonal staff."
