Gammage and Rouse join Insignia

Derek Gammage and Chris Rouse have left their roles as partners at property agent Knight Frank to take up new positions in the New Year at hotel advisory company Insignia Hotel Partners.

Gammage, who headed up a 20-strong hotel division at Knight Frank, will become managing director at Insignia while Rouse becomes a director. The company has also hired Regal Hotels' former chairman Charles Vere Nicoll to advise on financing, mergers and acquisitions.

Insignia, now owned by US firm Insignia Financial Group, was launched in London in 1997 to offer financial and property services to European hoteliers. The company has 11 offices, mostly in the USA, with a second European branch in Frankfurt, Germany.
