Hall & Woodhouse freezes beer prices for fourth consecutive year

Dorset-based family brewer and pub company Hall & Woodhouse is to hold the wholesale prices of its draught cask ale to its pubs for the fourth consecutive year.

The company said the ongoing freeze was one of the main reasons for it being crowned Best Tenanted Pub Company at the Publican Awards last month.

In addition to the price freeze, Hall & Woodhouse has capped RPI-linked rent increases at 2.8% for 2012 and negotiated supply deals with Professional Energy Services and Flogas to offer Business Partners competitive pricing for utilities.

Matt Kearsey, Hall & Woodhouse business partnerships director, said: "We are pleased to have held our wholesale prices for our business partners, alongside a £5m investment in the new brewery. This shows a real commitment to cask ale and is a continued response to our Business Partners asking for help in controlling their costs."
