Hands buys Arcadian hotels

Guy Hands, a leading financier at Japanese investment bank Nomura, has bought the 11 Arcadian hotels put up for sale in June.

They join his hotel group Hand Picked Hotels.

Hands bought the hotels from Wyndham International, formerly Patriot American Hospitality, for between £70m and £80m.
