Insight event to feature the ‘Donald Trump of TripAdvisor'

A man who has been billed as the ‘Donald Trump of TripAdvisor' will be among the speakers making waves at YFood's Insight & Innovation: Eating & Drinking Out Day.

Vice writer Oobah Butler will explain how he made his shed the number one restaurant in London on TripAdvisor without serving a single meal.

Taking place on 2 May at the Dutch Hall, the first hospitality-focused event for YFood will be moderated by food writer William Sitwell. It will also feature Ryan Chetiyawardana, aka Mr Lyan, who will share his innovative approach to sustainable and delicious drinks, and representatives from citizenM and Pho, who will share where they see the potential for tech in the industry.

As well as learning about the latest trends and innovations, delegates will have the opportunity to get hands on by tasting innovative food and drink and experiencing the technology of the future for themselves.

Nadia El Hadery, founder and chief executive of YFood said: "It's a high energy, fun, dynamic event designed to deliver real business value. We do the hard work for you, using YFood's experience and expertise to navigate through the complex world of technology and innovation and curate the most exciting, cutting edge and commercial solutions for your business."
