The Icebox series of automatic ice-makers, produced in Italy by Rancilio, work by squirting water onto an evaporator formed by small refrigerated copper cups. Once fully formed, the ice drops automatically into the collection bin.
Prices start at £565 for Icebox 15 which can make 15kg a day with 4 kg storage bin, and £675 for the 25kg a day Icebox 25. The full series covers nine models up to a maximum of 160kg a day.
