Jamies sees festive sales boost

Jamies Bars, owner and operator of 15 bars and brasseries in the City and central London, has reported a 12% increase in like-for-like sales in the four weeks up to Christmas.

This compares with an 8% increase during the same period last year.

It brings to 7.5% the increase in like-for-like sales during the first five months of the company's financial year.

Jamies is opening bars in Soho in March and Canary Wharf in April. It said it was close to securing more sites.
