Kirriemuir's Hook's Hotel sold to first-timers

Hook's Hotel, a pub with rooms in the town of Kirriemuir, Angus, has been sold for close to £250,000 through agent Christie & Co.

The business includes a public bar, a 60-seat lounge bar/restaurant, six letting bedrooms and a large beer garden.

Proprietors Graham and Tracey Douglas decided to sell due to other business commitments. New owners Robert and Isobel Gracie are first-time buyers entering the licensed trade.
