London Beer Week to launch in February
Pubs, bars and restaurants across the 13 streets of Carnaby and the Newburgh Quarter in London's West End are set to celebrate the inaugural London Beer Week festival from 16 to 22 February.
The initiative comes from the same team that launched London Cocktail Week and London Wine week.
The new seven-day beer festival will include a series of offers, pop-ups and tastings among a diverse mix of London pubs, independent bars and restaurants.
Located in the Newburgh Quarter, 14 Newburgh Street will play host to the hub of the festival, holding events such as the Cornish brewer Sharp's ‘Taste Crate' - a food and beer pairing.
From 11 February the hub will act as a wristband collection point, where customers can pick up and buy wristbands as well as receiving a copy of the London Beer Week guide book with all the bars pinpointed on maps.
Hannah Sharman-Cox, founder of London Beer Week said: "We're thrilled to partner with the Carnaby and the Newburgh Quarter's top pubs, bars and retailers on the first London Beer Week. Our activity is designed to highlight the rich diversity and wonderful idiosyncrasies that make beer a true London beverage."
Wristbands are set to cost £10 and will include offers such as three speciality beers and five boilermakers (beer and bourbon) and other such deals throughout the week.
