Manuka Kitchen owners to launch second site

Manuka Kitchen owners Joseph Antippa and Tyler Martin are to open a second restaurant near London's Lancaster Gate.

The pair, who won critical praise for their simple menu at Fulham's Manuka Kitchen, are planning to create a similar environment at the new 50-cover Salt & Honey site.

Head chef Tyler Martin's menu will include dishes such as lemongrass and manuka honey-cured salmon; poached plum, green beans, shaved foie gras and pistachio; Beef fillet, beef shin and girolles; and Manuka honey and saffron brûlée.

Martin met Antippa when they worked at Bistrot 190 in Kensington's Gore hotel.

They went on to open Manuka kitchen together, a 25-cover bistro and underground gin bar.

The new site is expected to open in mid-May.
