Marston's finance director to depart after 17 years

Marston's has announced the departure of finance director Paul Inglett after 17 years at the brewer and pub operator.

Inglett, who joined Marston's in 1992 and became finance director in 2001, is leaving to pursue other opportunities. He is expected to remain at the company until the publication of its half-year results this May.

David Thompson, chairman of Marston's, said: "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Paul for his important contribution to the group including recently completing the successful extension of our bank facility to 2013."

Marston's said the search for a new finance director had commenced.
