Mayor pulls out of conference
Ken Livingstone disappointed delegates at the HCIMA London Conference by cancelling his appearance just two days before the event.
HCIMA staff were told that the mayor of London, who was due to give the opening speech at the conference, was unable to attend, and no one could be sent in his place.
"That's just bloody typical of Government, not turning up to an industry event," said Bill Toner, chief executive of Aramark.
