premises. The 40-seat, fine-dining restaurant was part of the John Harvey and Sons sherry company, which left the Denmark Street building - with its extensive network of cave-like wine cellars - two years ago. The one-Michelin-starred restaurant, which also had a 24-seat dining room, opened in 1962 and eight years later was redesigned by Terence Conran. Daniel Galmiche was chef at the restaurant, the lease of which Allied Domecq has sold back to landlord Wilson Connolly.
