Michelin-starred chef line up announced for British Culinary Federation Awards
Four Michelin-starred chefs from the Midlands have been chosen to cook at the British Culinary Federation Awards on 18 September.
Richard Turner, chef-patron of Turners in Birmingham, Brad Carter, chef-proprietor of Carters of Moseley, Birmingham, Luke Tipping, executive chef and director of Simpsons, Edgbaston, and former Bocuse d'Or entrant Adam Bennett (pictured), head chef of the Cross in Kenilworth will be cooking at the event which will take place at the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston.
There will be several awards announced on the evening, including: the Louis Cipolla Awar, the Johnnie Borra Memorial Trophy, the Ken Fraser Memorial Award, the Robert J Smith Award, the Special Award, the Chairman's Award, the President's Award, the Paul Gould OBE Memorial Trophy and the Aubrey Allen Award.
Last year's event attracted almost 200 guests, and the British Culinary Federation are expecting a similar turnout this year.
